Andrew Bettencourt

Athlete Development Trainer

Andrew grew up in Elk Grove, California. Raised with four older brothers and healthy dose of competition, he quickly learned the love of sports. Constantly active, he cultivated an athletic lifestyle which shaped his success throughout his high school, college, semi-professional, and professional careers.

Beginning at a young age, he joined any team that had an opening and eventually came to love track, basketball, and football. In high school he led the Christian Brothers to an almost undefeated season and was recognized as an all-American quarterback. As a scholarship-awarded athlete, Andrew played NCAA Division II basketball and football at Missouri Western University.

After college, he continued to nourish his hunger for football by playing local, semi-professional football. He eventually took his talents overseas where he played professional football in Warsaw, Poland as an Eagle.

These days, Andrew can be found coaching quarterbacks for True Grit Sports or training athletes at Ethos Strength and Conditioning.  Andrew understands the demand of being an athlete firsthand and strives to instill passion, respect, confidence, and the hunger to succeed on and off the field.

While he is not shaping minds and building athletes, Andrew is relaxing with his wife and two dogs or with friends. He is an athlete in all aspects of his life and exercises this lifestyle respectfully and passionately.
